In 1995 the author's youngest son, Craig Schermerhorn, died at age 10 after complications form leukemia. This life-shattering event propelled JoAnn onto a journey of grief and healing as well as a profound spiritual transformation. As a result her life has turned toward a whole new set of purposes. Eventually, the inspiration came to her to create this tenderly written book that would both honor Craig's inspirational life and reflect the healing message of the song. The process of life, death and afterlife is again brought forth to represent to us the transitional journeys we are all destined to take. You will be deeply moved by this beautifully illustrated tribute to a loving and very evolved boy whose life is inspiring to all who con
