She also attended the Mission Europe event in Tirana, Albania, and the Mission Universe pageant in Las Vegas in 1996. Brought up in Cavan, Joanne Black started part-time modelling with the Holman Lee Modelling Agency in 1990. Black was then described as ‘Ireland’s most eligible young woman’.
