Fellow of the Chemical Society 1893. Research Fellow of Owen’s College, 1895. Assistant Lecturer in Organic Chemistry, 1896. Lecturer, 1899; Senior Lecturer in Chemistry and Lecturer in Bio-Chemistry in the University of Manchester, 1908-1910. Master of Science (Manchester) 1905; Sorby Research Fellow of the Royal Society since 1909.
