Career
Since 2013 he has served as the Vice President of Hockey-Related Businesses for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (National Hockey League). He was head coach of the Penn State"s men"s club hockey team, the Penn State Icers, from 1987 to 2006. In 2003 he served as head coach for Team United States of America at the World University Games held in Tarvisio, Italy.
In 2004, Battista was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.
Membership
In 1991, Battista was a founding member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).
