Pearson started his Mobile Marketing Association career at 2002, fighting for several organizations in the midwest of United States.
He made a 7-1-1 record and then came to Japan to fight for Shooto against Hatsu Hioki.
Pearson lost the bout via submission. Pride Football Club and WEC Featherweight Championship
In Pride Bushido 13 he faced the Pancrase and DEEP veteran Yoshiro Maeda.
In early 2007 he gained an opportunity to fight against the WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber. However, he lost via submission in the first round.
