Career
Preston has also played with, and has a solo project called. Joe Preston learned bass from Alexander Giles. In 2007, he joined in the studio for the recording of The Best Game in Town and toured with them during their 2008 United States and European tours.
He is the uncle of actor Dominic Janes.
