Elected as State Senator, Florida District No. 12, composed of Taylor, Dixie and Lafayette Cos., 1922-1930. Served on Commissions and sponsored Bills enacting the Florida Road Laws and system of Building State Paved Roads from Gas tax only.
Supported Bills creating Florida Free School system and State Institutions of Higher Education, enacting the present Fish and Game Conservation Laws. Creating, by amendment, the present Improved Banking Laws and Regulations.
