"For Better Or Verse" is a collection of 100 original limericks. Although a few could be considered risque, they are not "dirty". In fact, elementary school children have taken great delight in them, as have adults. One of the interesting and useful features of the book is an index of key words -- to help readers get back to limericks they enjoyed. Entries include "baseball," "Boston," "Brooklyn Dodgers," "car phone," "home equity loan," "legumes," "lawyers," "Red Sox," "teaching," "typhoid fever," and "whining."
