He was selected as one of the twenty umpires to stand in matches during the 2015 and performed duties of an on-field umpire in three group-stage matches. A few months later, Wilson stood in his first Test match in the match between Bangladesh and South Africa in Chittagong from 21–25 July 2015. As of 17 March 2016:.
