He is best known for his role as Joey Rooney in the Disney Channel sitcom Liv and Maddie, which began in 2013, and his role as Magoo in the 2012 film Fred 3: Camp Fred. He also has a successful stand-up comedy career. Bragg was born in Union City, California.

He played ice hockey during his younger years for the California Cougars.
