Johan Brink worked as a partner of Bowman Gilfillan Hayman Godfrey Inc. His practice covered general practice, corporate and commercial law, taxation, real estate, and deceased estates law.
Bowman Gilfillan Hayman Godfrey was established in 1902. It later became part of the firm now known as Bowmans, which was formed in 1998 through the merger of Bowman Gilfillan Hayman Godfrey, Findlay & Tait (established 1885), and John & Kernick (established 1923). The Bowman Gilfillan lineage traces back to Douglas Gilfillan, who moved to Johannesburg in 1893 and founded a law practice there.
