Johannes Kotkas was an Estonian amateur wrestler who won the gold medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics for the Soviet Union.

Kotkas was born in Tartu.

Achievements

  • He won the gold medal at the 1938, 1939 and 1947 European Championship. At the 1953 World Championship Kotkas won the silver medal.
