He graduated from Saint Bernard"s School of Theology and Ministry and was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 1941.
In 1969, he was given the title of Monsignor by Pope Paul VI. He died on August 1, 1989. Albert originally joined the United States Army in 1945 before transferring to the Air Force after its inception. In 1970, he was promoted to the rank of brigadier general and became Deputy Chief of Chaplains later that year.
He retired in 1972.
