He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his debut for Ireland on their tour of the United States. in 1909, playing against a team representing New New York He then played two first-class matches against Philadelphia on the same tour.
He would not represent Ireland again until 1925, when he played two first-class matches against Scotland and Wales in addition to a match against the Master Control Console at Lord"son
