John Auld was a Scottish football player who played for Sunderland and Scotland as a central defender.
Career
He later became a director of Newcastle United. He went on to make three appearances for his country, scoring no goals.
Achievements
Auld played for Sunderland during 1890 to 1895 where he won two League Championships, in. 1892 and 1893, and the 1894/95 World Championship. Auld gained his first cap for Scotland on 19 March 1887 against England where they won 3–2.
