Born in Washington, District of Columbia, he played collegiately for the Boston College. He was selected by the Boston Celtics in the 4th round (38th pick overall) of the 1966 National Basketball Association Draft. He played for the Baltimore Bullets (1966-1967) in the National Basketball Association for 4 games and the New Jersey Americans (1967-1968) in the American Bar Association for 41 games.
