John Hutton BISDEE was a Lieutenant.

Studied at Hutchin’s School, Hobart, Tasmania.
Career
Lived on the estate of Hutton Park until 1900, then enlisted in ranks of 1st Tasmania Imperial Bushmen in South African War. Received a commission in the 2nd T.I.B, 1901. Returned 1902, and again took up pastoral pursuits.
Received a commission as Lieut, in 12th Australian Light Horse, 1906. Victoria Cross; Pastoralist.
