Career
He was a left-handed batsman who played for Sussex. He was born in Sutton and died in Kensington. Butt made a single first-class appearance for the team, against the touring West Indians in 1923.
Batting in the upper-middle order, he scored two runs in the first innings and eight runs in the second.
