Career
In later life he was a clergyman. Ordained deacon (London) 1 June 1828, priest, 14 June 1829, Curate of Wakes Colne, Essex, 1828-1830, Rector of Pebmarsh, 1831-1842, Rector of Antingham Street Mary with Thorpe Market, and Bradfield, Norfolk, 1830-1889, Rural Dean of Repps, 1869-1887. Review John Dolphin, who died in 1831, was son of John Dolphin, of Shenstone, Staffordshire, armigerous.
