He is a figurative sculptor, who works mostly in bronze. He was influenced by Charles Despiau, while spending time at the Musée Bourdelle, Paris. He has enjoyed a successful career as a public sculptor since his first one-man show at the Waterhouse and Dodd Gallery, London in 1968.
He created twoand three-dimensional art and when he created the statue of Nelson he agreed that the sum would be given to charity.
