Career

His district includes Hartford and Wethersfield. Previously he served in the Connecticut House of Representatives from 1987 through 1997. Fonfara was born and raised in Hartford, attended the public schools, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Connecticut, and holds an Master of Arts in Public Policy from Trinity College.

He currently resides in Hartford.
