Hall appeared only once during the 1896 season when he took a wicket against Warwickshire and played his last match in the 1897 season in an innings defeat to Surrey. He was a right-handed batsman who scored 3 runs in 7 innings and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who took 3 wickets at an average of 37.33.
Hall died at Worksop at the age of 51.
