Career
He last played for the Montreal Alouettes. In 2010, he was signed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers but was released during training camp the same year. He was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the third round of the 2009 Canadian Football League Draft.
He played Commonwealth of Independent States football for the Regina Rams.
Hashem played his college football for the Regina Rams. He started 16 consecutive games at Right tackle for Regina over the past two seasons.
In 2008, he blocked for conference-leading passer Teale Orban. In 2009 and 2010, he blocked for the Can-West Superstar quarterback Marc Mueller.
Montreal Alouettes
After being on the Montreal Alouettes roster in 2011 and attending the team"s training camp in 2012, Hashem was released by the Alouettes along with eight other players on June 16, 2012.
