Selected to superintend burial of enemy’s dead for front of ½ mile on “Bloody Lane”.
Participated in battles of Antietam. Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville.
Struck in clothing and person 7 times, and horse killed at Chancellorsville. Practiced, 1859-1898.
Specialized in corporation law.
