Moberly was a right-handed batsman. Moberly made his only first-class appearance during the 1877 season for Hampshire against Derbyshire. Moberly scored 27 runs Hampshire"s first innings and 4 in their second, leaving him with a batting average of 15.50.
In 1879 Moberly played a single non first-class match for the Marylebone Cricket Club against Winchester College.
Moberly died at Southampton, Hampshire on 29 January 1928.
