Career
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Padova received an Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University in 1956 and a Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law in 1959. He was in private practice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1960 to 1992, also serving in the United States Army, ARNG of New Jersey from 1959 to 1964 and in the United States Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General Corps from 1964 to 1968. On November 5, 1991, Padova was nominated by President George H. West. Bush to a new seat on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania created by 104 Statistics
