Death While in Indianapolis on March 25, 2010 filming a documentary at the Horror Hound Convention, McGarr was struck by an automobile as he walked down the street and was killed by the drunk driver at 10:30 american He died instantly. The driver was arrested and moved to a local hospital where it was determined he had an alcohol level four times the legal intoxication limit for Indiana.
McGarr was buried in Saint John"s Cemetery in Middle Village, New New York Ironically, McGarr was researching a film about the traumatic effects on victim"s families due to drunk driving accidents at the time of his death.
His company, My Way Pictures, had been contacted by a driver convicted of a Driving under the influence requesting a film or documentary be made to be distributed to high school drivers education classes just weeks before this accident.
