Admitted to the bar, 1947. Admitted in 1947, since 1956, Mr. Jones has conducted a transportation and general practice.
Concentration has been on litigation in the federal and state courts and administrative agencies which has resulted from the legal and industry changes brought about by truck and rail deregulation since 1980.
Representing both shippers and carriers, this litigation has taken him, in a successful opposition to certiorari to the United States Supreme Court in Rebel Motor Freight, Incorporated. versus Interstate Commerce Commission, #91-329, c.d.
December 3, 1991, 60LW3400. He serves as an Arbitrator and is also involved in Memphis community projects.
