Career
Price was born in Mayfield, New South Wales. He was previously a marine engineer, a public servant and an engineering/marketing consultant. Price represented Waratah from 1984 to 1999 and Maitland from 1999 to 2007 for the Australian Labor Party.
He was Deputy Speaker from 1999 to 2007.
He did not contest the 2007 election.
