Studied at private schools. The Dominican Colleges of Hinckley and London, and at the I.ouvain University, Belgium. Took degree of S.T.L.
Sacrae Tlieologiae Magister.
Or Professor of Philosophy aud Theology at Louvain in 1874. Ordained priest by Archbishop Manning, 1872. For many years stationed at St. Dominic’s Priory, London, where now residing.
Preached missions and retreats in most of the towns of England, and in Ireland, Scotland, and America. Been Superior of the Dominican Houses in London, Newcastle, Leicester, and Hawkesyard. Provincial of the Dominicans in England, 1894- 1902.
Received from Rome in 1902, in recognition of services to the Catholic Church in England, the honorary degree of Sacræ Theologiæ Magister or Master in Sacred Theology. Ordinis Prcpdieatorum = of the Order of Preachers (Dominican Ecclesiastical Title), Provincial or Head of Dominicans in England; elected 3rd time, 1907.
