Career

After graduating he tied for the fourth place at the 1968 Olympic trials and was left out of the United States. Olympic team In 1965, Rambo was drafted in the sixth round by the Saint Louis Hawks of the National Basketball Association, but never played professional basketball.

Achievements

• While studying at Long Beach State, Rambo won the 1964 National Collegiate Athletic Association title and later the Amateur Athletic Union indoor title in 1967 and 1969.
