Walker has contributed to a range of print publications, including Personal Computer Gamer (credited from issues 75-228), Total Film, Linux Format, Cult television, Edge, NGamer, Windows XP, Personal Computer Plus, Official Xbox Magazine, Xbox World, Gamesmaster, The Cat Magazine and Personal Computer Format. Walker is a founding member and regular contributor to the Personal Computer gaming site Rock, Paper, Shotgun, a games reviewer for Eurogamer, and a former essayist for The Escapist. He is also one half of the podcast, the other being Nick Mailer of Positive Internet, a podcast in which they pick a topic, then actively avoid talking about lieutenant
