Served during Spanish- American War as Private in Company D, Fifteenth Minnesota Volunteer Infantry., 1898. Appointed Veterinarv Inspector, United States Bureau of Animal Industry and assigned to Meat Inspection Work at Kansas. City, Kansas., 1908; transferred to Texas Fever Tick Eradication work in Mississippi.

1911: assigned to Foot and Mouth Disease Eradication work in Conn, and Massachusetts, 1914. Transferred to Tick Eradication work in Mississippi, 1915. Inspector in Charge of Tick Eradication work in Miss, with Headquarters. at Jackson, 1916.

Placed in charge of Eradication of Tuberculosis of live stock in Mississippi, 1918. Transferred to stock yards Inspection at Omaha, Nebraska, 1923. Inspector in Charge of all Government, activities in suppression of diseases of live stock in Iowa, Des Moines, Iowa, since 1923.

Author of short articles and talks on suppression of diseases of animals and development of Live Stock Industry. President Des Moines Federal Business Association. Vice-President American Vet.
