President Asbury Park Saint Railway Company, 1892. Built Chicago & Englewood Electric Railway, 1893.

President public Chicago Evening Post, 1901-1931. President and publisher Indianapolis Star, Muncie Star.

Owner public Louisville Herald 14 years, also Rocky Mountain News and Denver Times.
