• Achievements include development of hydrologic models to show that hydrologic processes amplify effects of climate change on water resources. Demonstration that arid areas of the United States are most vulnerable. Development of methods to assess information content of hydrometeorologicaldata networks in mountainous regions and to estimate precipitation at ungauged locations.
  
  Introduction of theory of disaggregation processes in stochastic hydrology.
