Studied at Malvern College. Downing College, Cambridge.

Career

Barrister, 1887; contested East Leeds as a Unionist twice in 1895. Formerly a partner in Thomas Wethered and Sons, brewers, Marlow, and was Secretary and Chairman of the Country Brewers Society. Honourable Secretary of Sir Edward Fry’s Committee of Inquiry into the Affairs of the National Hospital for the Paralysed and Epileptic, 1901.
