Babka has an unsuccessful attempt for reelection in 1920 to the Sixty-seventh Congress. He resumed the practice of law. He served as delegate to the Democratic National Conventions in 1920 and 1932.Counsel for attorney general of Ohio, 1911-1912. 3d assistant prosecuting attorney Cuyahoga Company, O., 1912-1916. 1st assistant prosecuting attorney same county, 1916-1919.
