Construction and operating engineer Twin City Rapid Transit Company, Minneapolis, 1898-1899, St. Croix Power Company (Apple River development), 1899-1901. Assistant engineer Niagara Falls Hydraulic Power & Manufacturing Company, 1902-1903.

Chief engineer, same, 1903-1918, and Cliff Elec. Distributing Company, 1910-1918. Vice-president and chief engineering Niagara Falls Power Company (merger of all power plants on American side of Niagara River, since 1918, also chief engineer Canadian Niagara Power Company, and Niagara Junction Railway Company.

General consultant practice.
