Green, John Montogomery was born on February 10, 1942 in McCook, Nebraska, United States. Son of John Wiley and Breta Naomi (Montgomery) Green.

Director Wauneta Falls Bank, since 1972, executive vice president, 1976—1980, president, since 1980. Vice president commercial lending Havelock National Bank, Lincoln, 1973—1974.

Second vice president Nebraska Indiana Bankers Association, 1983—1984. Lieutenant United States Navy, 1963-1968, captain United States Naval Reserve, since 1984.


The teaching of the Bible is a key in understanding the way by which a person obtains salvation.


The state should not use its authority to promote any particular religious belief. It should allow people practice their own religious convictions.


It is good for Christians with different approaches to the interpretation of the Bible to engage with each other and argue how the Bible should be applied to issues in our contemporary world.
