Educated St. Malachy’s College, Belfast, Castleknock College, Dublin. Unmarried.
Began as illustrator and cartoonist, Dublin, 1900. Later drew cartoons for New Age (London), Ulster Guardian, Nomads Weekly, etc., and illustrations for books, Celtic legends, etc. Art director Ulster Literature Theatre, Ireland, 1904-1913, also producer of plays in London, Manchester, Dublin and other cities of Great Britain and Ireland.
Came to America, 1912. Art director Irish Historic Pageant, produced New York, May, 1913. Produced play “The Drone,” at Auditorium, Baltimore, Belasco Theatre, Washington, Daly’s Theatre, New New York Exhibited at Franco-British Exhibition, London.
Brussels Exhibition; St. Louis Exhibition, 1906. Ulster Arts Club Exhibition, Belfast, annually. National Arts Club, etc.
Member Belfast Art Society, Irish Literature Society (London), Irish Texts Society (London), Irish Arts and Crafts Society Prominent in creating the artistic, literature, musical and dramatic awakening in Ireland.
