Assistant foreman machine department Titusville Forge Company, general superintendent, later president, 1907-1917. General manager Titusville div. Bethlehem Steel Company, 1917-1926.

Vice president of Struthers Wells-Titusville Corporation (now Struthers Wells Corporation), Warren, Pennsylvania, 1928-1932, president 1932-1956. Chairman of the board, since 1956. President of the Titusville Iron Works Company, since 1932.

Director Titusville Trust Company.
