Commander Alaskan Sector, 1942-1943, carrier division, 1943-1944, Eastern Carolinas, 1944-1945, Naval Air Transport Service, 1944-1948. Chief Naval Air Training Command, 1948-1950. Retired with rank of admiral, 1950.

Now general manager Department of Airports, City of Los Los Angeles.
