He graduated from the University of Toronto, studied animation in the United States before returned to Hong Kong in 1998.

Career
Born in Hong Kong, Lee immigrated to Canada in 1984 settling in the Toronto area. He began his entertainment career with Commercial Radio and trained as a comedian. He moved over acting at TVB in 2003.
Lee is the host and producer of late night talk show beginning in 2015 called Sze U Tonight 今晚睇李 on TVB.
