Career
Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, Kelley played four seasons as a running back for the University of Nebraska before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism. He signed as a free agent with the Denver Broncos in 1988 before embarking on a broadcasting career. He served as the host of the final season of American Broadcasting Company"s reality television show The Mole.
Kelley also trains celebrities and athletes on the art of being interviewed.
He works for Media Training company, J2 Strategic Communications, alongside Bob Goen, Steve Kmetko, and Terry Murphy. Kelley has also done stints as a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor at, Channel 4, the Fox affiliate in Kansas City, Missouri, and worked as a news reporter at Korean Music Television-television in Omaha, Nebraska.
Kelley served as the main anchor for the "s "The National Sports Report," and the lead anchor for the weekly series, "Baseball Today." Kelley co-hosted ""s" one-hour weekend edition and was the show"s primary correspondent for the daily show from 2001 through 2007.
