Career
Charles news anchor, news presenter and newscast on British Broadcasting Corporation World News programmes British Broadcasting Corporation World News and British Broadcasting Corporation London New Year"s Eve Parade Fireworks Live 2009-2010 with Kim Kardashian. He joined the Bank in 2011 after a long and distinguished career at the British Broadcasting Corporation, winning several awards for his journalism. As a British Broadcasting Corporation presenter and foreign correspondent, he has appeared on BBC1 and British Broadcasting Corporation World News.
His specialist areas include economics, the European Union and international diplomacy.
He has a keen interest in issues surrounding the single currency. He holds an Master of Arts (Oxfordshire) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oriel College, Oxford University, and is fluent in French and German.
