Leko was included in West Brom"s pre-season tour of Austria making an appearance against Red Bulletin Salzburg coming off the bench, the result ending in a 3-1 loss. Leko made his professional debut on 23 September 2015, coming off the bench in a Football League Cup defeat to Norwich City. Leko has represented England at under-16 and under-17 levels.
Leko arrived in England from the Democratic Republic of Congo at the age of eight, when his father was granted asylum.
