He reduced Care in Community program consults from 9000 to 125 in less than 90 days. In the process, consult readiness scores rose from the second-worst in VHA to the top within the region in less than 6 months. He also oversaw the award of a 172,000 square-foot multi-specialty care clinic in Tusla, Oklahoma.
