Career
Jonnie is co-author of the book “What Do You Want To Do Before You Die?”. The book became a #1 New York Times Best Seller shortly after its release in April 2012. Jonnie is enrolled at McGill University in Montreal, with a double major in History and English Literature.
He is currently attending Cambridge University.
In addition, he was also selected to represent the country of Canada at the Oxford University Debate Championships. Jonnie currently resides in Los Angeles, California. In 2010 and 2011, Jonnie along with the cast of The Buried Life earned a nomination for the Do Something television Show Award from the Video Hits One Do Something Awards.
The Buried Life received a nomination for its efforts to encourage people to pursue their life goals. He placed a bet of $250,000 on black and helped organize the biggest speed dating event in history with the University of South Florida.
In July 2011, Jonnie and the rest of the cast helped make a $300,000 donation to The Keep America Beautiful foundation.
In 2015, Jonnie undertook a masters degree from the University of Cambridge.
