Career
She has directed over a dozen short films which have screened and at festivals all over the world including the Toronto International Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival and Interfilm Berlin. Canning was born in Newfoundland. Canning worked at the Saint John"s International Women"s Festival and wrote film reviews for local newspapers.
She also worked as a Film Analyst, categorizing films for Netflix.
Canning"s 2014 film We were Wolves screened at the Toronto Film Festival and is distributed by Video Services Corporation
