Career
Zarza got a journalism post-degree in the Universidad Católica de Chile and an Economic degree in the Complutense University of Madrid and started his journalism career in 1990 as collaborator of El Heraldo de México. From 1990 to 1992 he worked as newsreader in Radio military and Radio Formula. In 1995 he joined as reporter of Azteca Noticias, later in 1999 he was hired as anchor of the mid-day edition of Hechos.
He had covered events like the 2004 Madrid train bombings, the violence in Chiapas and the 2010 Chilean mine rescue.
He asked to the government sending more police against Atenco people during the Atenco massacre, ordered by the governor Enrique Peña Nieto, even when the police had killed a child, Javier Cortéson Since May 2, 2011 he is anchor of Hechos Department of Administration and Management.
